Service & Repair

Remember to get your dive gear serviced annually. This is your life-saving equipment.

For those of you in Napa, I highly recommend Any Water Sports in San Jose or Captain Aqua’s for your Aqua Lung and Suunto annual service and repair.

  • Any Water Sports: (408) 244-4433
  • Captain Aqua’s: (510) 728-0225

Typical annual service for a regulator should run between $30 and $90 (depending on how many components you have serviced). Full-service is usually around $75.

Paying anything more for a routine annual service is not necessary – you’re not getting more for your money. Keep in mind that many local dive shops use these same shops to service your gear BUT they mark it up way beyond what it would cost for you to safely and reliably ship round trip via UPS or FedEx.

Batteries for a typical Suunto dive computer is available at Radio Shack. However, changing the battery incorrectly can lead to flooding.

To save money and to be assured of the highest quality work, look for shops that service gear in-house. Take the time to get to know your technicians.

Aqua Lung/US Divers, Atomic, Dive Rite, Mares, Oceanic, Parkway, Poseiden, Sherwood, Scubapro, Spare Air, Tusa/Tabata, XS Scuba, and Zeagle regulators, octos, combo octo-BCD inflators, and BCDs
